We offer a unique experience when you obtain a quote from our website. Not only will you receive a customized quote for your insurance needs, but you’ll also have the opportunity to  donate to a charity from a list representing several favorites of East Street customers.  

Helping you help the Heartland

When you choose East Street, you choose to give back. You select the charity that you’d like to donate to. But we also challenge you to do more; research more ways to help your neighbors. It doesn’t have to cost anything—remember, you can give your time, talents or treasures to your community and the people it serves. Your local community needs your help. Whether through financial support or in-kind donations, such as your time, services or goods, there are always charities that could benefit from your goodwill. 

How does it work?

Designating a donation to a favorite charity is now easier than ever! 

The first thing to do is request a quote on our website. This can be a homeowners, renters or auto insurance quote, or you can bundle them together to take advantage of various discounts we offer.  

At the end of the online quote, if eligible, you will see a list of charities that you can designate to receive our donation. Just select a charity from the list and click the “Donate…” button.  We will send you a confirmation email on your selection and handle all the remaining details of donating to the charity you chose. It’s that simple.

How can I be eligible?

We’ll send a $10 donation for a valid auto or renters quote, and a $15 donation for a valid homeowners quote. There is a $25  maximum contribution regardless of the number of policies quoted at one time.  

You are not eligible to designate a donation if you update or re-quote a previously quoted auto, home and/or renters.  

Can I choose a charity?

We’ve preselected local and national charities that represent favorites of East Street Insurance customers. 

We rotate the list of available charity recipients to choose from regularly and hope to provide the ability to choose from more Ohio charities in the future. 

East Street Insurance is proud to offer insurance protection to Ohio residents. We are equally proud to serve its local communities; and our donation program for quotes is our unique effort to give back.
